He is so lucky that he is an American so he can buy all those treats.

It's unironically more accurate and informative than a modern econ or business class.

It acknowledges the labor theory of value and even that capitalists produce nothing, but does a really weak "but some workers also produce nothing!" To habdwave that away without explaining who one of those groups gets nothing and the other gets everything.

But yeah, the bit about productive forces and application of industrial capital to the economy is correct. This is something that was probably laughed at by any workers in the 40s and any workers that watch it now will just get mad.

I'd also like to see this edited to have the Chinese worker having all the benefits of advanced means of production now while the American worker is running around a city delivering KFC for $4/hr

Love the random racist depiction of a Chinese person out of nowhere. It's also the most replayed section according to YouTube.

The narration right before that part: https://youtu.be/j-6YQQ779YM?t=260 :deng-cowboy: :deng-cowboy: :deng-cowboy: yeehaw

Apparently China used to be Mexico, with all that yellow sunlight.
