Is it because I really only play indie games that I just don't think this is a problem? I don't think I've ever paid more than $30 for a game, ever. And most are in the $5-10 range with steam sales.
Occasionally I'll even buy a game I feel bad having spent so little for. Hollow Knight and FTL come to mind.
