That's a legitimate critique of evangelical philosophy. They've elevated satan to be a defacto god equal to god, which... uhh... is not something you see in most christian denominations.
It's not really fair to call that appropriation given Jewish people went out and converted people to Christianity. The relationship between Christians and Jews is weird and often bad, but there is no reason Christians shouldn't use Jewish scripture, it wasn't stolen.
