Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)

Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Telegram Channels

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

They didn't go into any great detail on the idea, but I err on the side of - if you use "wokeism" unironically then you also probably have an unnuanced view on what that means and so aren't talking about the same thing that we criticize, e.g. the Democrats' response to the BLM protests. Like, the language being used in the first place is what gives it away.

It's the same as when people trash the "green agenda" in Europe or America. I am also deeply critical of what the neoliberals are doing to decarbonize - when they even are, because the G20 broadly isn't. As such I have a nuanced opinion on the kinds of anti-climate initiative protests that you sometimes see, in that while they're used extremely cynically by climate change deniers to say "Hey! See! We're the real champions of the working class!", and while some or even many of the people in them are reactionary chuds, the fundamental idea is true that neoliberal governments are so corrupt and inept and driven by the profit motive that they are unable to properly utilize their economies to help people and will instead likely hurt them while trying to deal with the climate crisis. However, if you're complaining about a green agenda and you've previously exhibited conservative opinions, it's unlikely that you have that nuanced take and are instead at best a "capitalism will fix this all, listen to the wise fossil fuel CEOs, they know what to do!" kind of person and at worst a "climate change isn't real/is naturally caused/is good actually, we need to increase the number of coal and oil power plants, not get rid of them! CO2 makes plants grow gooder!" kind of person.
