No updates on Thursdays.
September 16th's mini-update is here, because western journalists are bad at their jobs. Here's the in-thread comment.
Today and tomorrow I'm gonna be doing some prep as I'm moving in a few weeks. The updates will continue as planned on Monday.
:Care-Comrade: to you all.

Examples of Ukrainian Nazis and fascists, for the “buh Zeleski is a jew?!?!” people.

Add to the above list if you can, thank you.
Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins
Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)
Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.
Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.
Telegram Channels
Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Last week's discussion post.
I mainly just lurk here but wanted to say that these bulletins go to my RSS feed and I read them every single day. Thanks again
After doing literally nothing to prevent it, the United States is approaching 2 million covid deaths when accounting for excess mortality since the start of the pandemic.
I feel like I’m the only person who takes this seriously anymore and it’s infuriating.
The neck breaking whiplash of Reddit going from sympathizing with the plight of the Armenians to essentially condemning them to genocide for being a part of Russia’s sphere is breaking my fucking brain.
The sheer hypocrisy of it makes me see red.
I remember at the beginning of this conflict telling people I knew to not mindlessly throw money at any Ukranian org you see, not mindlessly shouting “Slava Ukraini”, and telling them to research the history of the conflict. They all treated me like I was some bloodthirsty psycho.
Now we’re here, however months later and none of them even remember that there’s a conflict in Ukraine. Of course, just like the Iraq War, when evidence comes up that they don’t like, they conveniently forget that they ever supported war.
To owneth Putin, the Lord of the East, thou must taketh water from thine well, and not strain the resources of the rest of the nation via the aqueduct. Verily, by the coming harvest season we shall give Ukraine ten thousand of our finest knights from the realm, alongside longswords of the highest craft! Make sure to not feed thy horse driving thy carriage with Russian feed, or Putin the Terrible may prove victorious!
President Nicolas Maduro has accepted a request from Gustavo Petro for Venezuela to become the guarantor of negotiations and peace agreements between the Colombian government and the ELN.
Ukraine is saying that Russia is increasingly using hypersonic missiles.
However, I have great news for Ukraine: the media has told me that Russia only has 50 hypersonic missiles because they ran out of chips for them, so it should be over soon.
Just got a seven day ban on :reddit-logo: for "promoting hate" because I said that things are leaning towards Azerbaijan in US politics because of their influence through money, and that the only reason Armenia hasn't been completely overrun is because of how strong/organized the US Armenian lobby is lol (CTSO also helps obviously). Literally an innocuous comment that I could provide multiple links from mainstream media orgs to back up everything I said. Reveddit says it was removed by :reddit-logo: legal lol.
EDIT: the comment
The needle has been pointing much more towards Azerbaijan. There is simply too much money flowing into DC from the Azeri government used to buy influence. It's way, way more than whatever Democrats complained about Russia doing. The people who fund/arm the Azeris, Turkey and Israel, are US allies. Basically, if Armenians in the US weren't as well organized, all the US politicians and pundits who claim to care about "human rights" would let Azerbaijan do to Armenia what the US has let Saudi Arabia do to Yemen.
Still trying to figure out which part was promoting hate lol. I guess :reddit-logo: must also be getting the Azeri oil money.

Russia is now at war with Azerbaijan pretty much. Armenia is invoking the security clause.
Turkey and Russian relations will go to hell if a ceasefire isn’t immediate
Armenia is asking Russia for aid as Azerbaijan has advanced 10km into Armenia's territory.
Armenian protestors are outside parliament and are beginning to break through the gates.
Really fucking awesome how a solid 75% of the people covering this war accurately are chuds who somehow managed to find the correct stance on a singular issue. Like, you read/watch their ongoing videos of the war's progress and they're like:
"So, as you can see, Ukraine is doomed, and Russia is ushering a new multipolar world out of the rotten remains of the unipolar, America-dominated one."
Yes!
"The West is full of bumbling, incompetent sycophants who have no real idea of what's going on in the world, and have lost all touch with the people they govern."
YES!
"And you know why?"
Uh oh.
"Because of Biden's idiotic immigration policies letting all the Mexicans in, and their suicidal attempts to implement a Green New Deal in America and Europe, and especially all their pronouns."
Gets real tiring after a while. I think Naked Capitalism is the only ideologically left place that I know of covering this war in any deal of accuracy, and they're not exactly calling for global proletarian revolution. This is the only place I know of that is both explicitly communist and is generally on the side of Russia versus the side of Ukraine, or at least sees through the western media's propaganda.
