      I wrote a novel trilogy. It took 3 years and a lot of effort on my part, but even getting it visible in online stores is an uphill struggle with a lot stacked against me.

      Meanwhile, failsons/faildaughters from connected families can churn out steaming garbage, sometimes just paying a ghostwriter to put their failson name on the cover of a biography, then that failson/faildaughter gets paid millions for it. :doomer:

        Stale thread, but this is why I will never acknowledge the legitimacy of Brian Herbert's fan-fiction.

        Just paid an (admittedly not unreadable) Star Wars novelist to beat the dead horse of his father's work into an unrecognizable paste.
