Remember how much latinos supported bernie?
Shocking that Latinos don't like the guy who built the child concentration camps on the southern border
Just wait for the deadeyed ivy-striving kids to start calling him Tio/Abuelito Jose
Chuck Rocha is def an identity politics grifter looking for establishment dollars to help dipshits like Joe Biden appeal to latinos
still would have been a better choice to hire his ass than ana navarro lmao
Except for when he saw direct results during the primary boosting bernie's numbers to dominating the latino vote in most places.
He got paid good money to work with Bernie and it built up his profile. Now he's on the consultant grift.
Also, it sucks that he's essentially taking credit for what countless organizers on the ground in the states where Latino populations delivered big for Bernie. Nevada in particular was the result of both labor activists and politically engaged locals actually mobilizing latinos in their own communities to come out for Bernie.
Let's not forget, Chuck wasn't the one making the hundreds of calls, or the drives out to the middle of nowhere, or the hard conversations with older, conservative family about the political revolution Sanders was talking about. I can't point to a single district on the map where Chuck showed up and brought votes.
Oye, gordo.
Such a massive departure from 2008-2010, when I remember Dems proudly crowing that they would reign for a thousand years because they had 2 growing demographics (Latin voters and young people) all locked up.
