I mean, I would argue that it's a fascism more tightly controlled by a capitalist class that has already looted this colony and has moved profitable production elsewhere, but it's figurehead is much much funnier.

The patsoc bit only makes sense when its in opposition to actual Marxists on twitter because it has some leverage in that it drives people mad and they engage with it. When you remove that element from the equation their whole program just falls apart becuase the base of maga isnt working class people who can actually be brought to see communism positively, its reactionary petty bourgeoisie who, correctly, hate communism and see it as a threat to capitalism. Theres no engagement with their rhetoric on Truthsocial or irl becuase only Marxists care to understand what the fuck they're even talking about lmao

I remember watching some maga rallies years back where literal American Nazi Party members were trying to go out there and recruit maga hogs, and they got fucking shut down because the hogs started squealing YOU"RE FUCKING COMMIES YOU GOT FUCKING SOCIALISM IN YOUR NAME YOU DEMON-RAT COMMIES!

So I know for a fact that maga hogs are generally resistant to literal nazi fascism on the grounds they've been indocrinated to actually believe the horse-shoe theory that everything they don't like is literally communism.
