I mean, I would argue that it's a fascism more tightly controlled by a capitalist class that has already looted this colony and has moved profitable production elsewhere, but it's figurehead is much much funnier.

The patsoc bit only makes sense when its in opposition to actual Marxists on twitter because it has some leverage in that it drives people mad and they engage with it. When you remove that element from the equation their whole program just falls apart becuase the base of maga isnt working class people who can actually be brought to see communism positively, its reactionary petty bourgeoisie who, correctly, hate communism and see it as a threat to capitalism. Theres no engagement with their rhetoric on Truthsocial or irl becuase only Marxists care to understand what the fuck they're even talking about lmao

I remember watching some maga rallies years back where literal American Nazi Party members were trying to go out there and recruit maga hogs, and they got fucking shut down because the hogs started squealing YOU"RE FUCKING COMMIES YOU GOT FUCKING SOCIALISM IN YOUR NAME YOU DEMON-RAT COMMIES!

So I know for a fact that maga hogs are generally resistant to literal nazi fascism on the grounds they've been indocrinated to actually believe the horse-shoe theory that everything they don't like is literally communism.

Out of all the Marxist writers I've read I think Lenin's personality shines through more than everyone else. He is hilarious and he's constantly owning everyone

the term at the time was "polemical" which Lenin undeniably fit into. half the people he dunks on in his books have their most significant historical mention in those same quotes tearing them apart. they aren't quite shitposts but only because they're not quite as absurdist as shitposts tend to get. but otherwise, his posts would have done well on reddit or twitter.

Seems like the current opinion of the manipulators at the top is "GIMME THAT ROOTLESS ALIENATED HANGS-OUT-ONLINE LOSER, HE'S MINE!" Everybody on every side of the spectrum vying for the same demographic of losers-so-alienated-they're-ready-to-believe-anything and they're all using the same derivative style of marketing/propaganda. It's like ten hot women all separately coming up with the strategy to market their Onlyfans at the local Friday Night Magic tournament and all being really obvious and annoying about it.

Its starting to scare me because all these maga people think communism just means authoritarian, so that's what it is: Authoritarian MAGA.

Tbf maga is already authoritarian, it the Republican party lmao. And I wouldn't worry too much over Magacommunism and patsoc nonsense, its all extremely internet shit. All their real world attempts to make a party or to infiltrate actual parties just keep failing and I seriously doubt they'll make the republican party any worse than it already is

, its all extremely internet shit.

famous last words. the internet is always leaking into real life. a white supremacist radicalized on 4chan published a 100 page manifesto full of pepe the frog and "happy merchant" memes before shooting up a supermarket full of black people just earlier this year.

Fair enough, thats very true. I just dont think that the appropriation of Marxist language by patsocs is nearly as attractive to reactionaries as just outright anti-communism and nazism. Most racists dont need a "dialectical materialist" argument to excuse being racist.

Basically Im saying Maga is far far more dangerous than Magacommunism

"National Socialism" was just fascists pretending they were gonna do redistribution of wealth .

"MAGA communism" will be the same thing if it takes off. It's meant to siphon off people who are economically alienated and ripe for class consciousness but easily swayed by reactionary scapegoat narratives targeting women, LGBT, ethnic and religious minorities, immigration, etc.

TL;DR "MAGA communism" is just MAGA in a coat of socialist paint.

Right, they're authoritarian, but they never say that they are. But yeah its just the intersection of a bunch of grifters, and D.C. operators who might be trying to pull probably 9 different online psyops
