If the path of reasoning you've followed has left you with no choice but to cling to an admitted delusion, maybe it's time to reexamine the reasoning that you followed.
My comparatively weak standard that I developed before even Bernie had entered the race was that if whoever the DNC ends up nominating can do better in polling than Clinton in Texas, I'd try to push them over the line with my vote.
The Dems have met that standard so far but between their diet GOP convention, the Neal/Morse shenanigans, Pelosi's Kennedy endorsement, and the Biden camp saying "oh we were just trying to placate 'Warren people,'" goddamn they are determined to give me reasons to disregard it and throw my vote to the Greens or something.

That's fair. I certainly don't blame anyone for not wanting to support the diet GOP.
I've got strong feelings both ways and no good way to untangle them. But I live in Texas so it really doesn't matter.
