I'm looking at the posting trends and predicting the logical next step. We all know libs suck, but we're moving to contrarianism for contrarianism's sake at warp speed.
You start with "Biden bad." But everyone agrees he's bad, and this is a meme site, so you start meming about how bad Biden is. This flattens any sort of nuanced discussion about exactly how Biden compares to Trump on specific issues, because that's what memes do. Now Biden bad means Biden is at least as bad as Trump on every single issue no matter how badly that fails the sniff test on a given topic (see Iran, climate change, etc.). Toss in a little "you know Biden would actually be worse for leftist organizing than the guy stuffing leftist organizers into unmarked vans and egging on right-wing paramilitaries." Toss in a little "voting doesn't really matter, and if it does, it's just a political tactic and not a moral statement." Toss in a bit too much ironic detachment from the real-world impact of politics. At some point this will produce "unironically, vote Trump."
'winding up to' means preparing for, like winding up to kick the football.
'winding up at' means taking the scenic route to finally arrive, taking a winding route.
Edit: there are a few more similar idioms:
'winding up a project/affairs' means settling/liquidating/completing it, is like winding up a cable.
'winding up someone' means making somebody angry so they lash out, is also like a wind-up toy.

Our condescending lib means: to eventually run in to, arrive at from a different origin.

I think you misunderstood still. @hogposting was saying that we're eventually going to get to the point of saying that people should vote for Trump.
Exactly this.
