A buddy got arrested and there’s an empty billboard along the main way to courthouse which gave me the idea.

Edit: thanks for the advice and help. Y’all have been really kind.

In theory? No. In practice? Yes, you can, since laws are not real and cops and courts can just send anyone to prison for any reason.

Two cases of people getting arrested for handing out jury nullification fliers. Both got their cases dismissed on appeal, but it took five years for the second guy to have his conviction overturned.

Kinda related: There's also this case of a woman who was convicted of contempt of court and charged with obstruction of justice for discussing jury nullification with other jurors. That is not illegal so the judge just found some other bullshit reason to convict her ("ooh you did not voluntarily tell us, without being asked, that you previously used drugs and support weed legalization")

I wanna tldr what I sent you to give other hexbear users an idea. You can but no company will want to deal with the harassment they'll face. It needs to not be a majority jury hearing (ie you need most for a jury to convict) but by then you're talking a federal case and the jurors are heavily screened. You need a 12 voting guilty but as I said by then you're just fuck.
