It's not that weird, I think. He looked sharp and wasn't even ugly. But it counts for nothing in a world view that is a) white supremacist and b) very rigid in it's beauty standards. I'd imagine his rationale goes like this: 'I am not tall or masculine so I'm not a chad, I have somewhat asian features which are inherently ugly, my only way out is presenting myself as rich'.
After he became a mass killer he started getting all sorts of attention from women who thought he was cute. Ted Bundy got tons of letters from women while in prison.
They probably had friends and relationships despite their looks and that pissed him off even more lol
