I doubt Fukushima is the issue. More likely ocean acidification or heating to have this big effect

There was a thread about this yesterday, between the migration of cold waters and acidification interfering with their shell development most of the young don't survive.
What did they think was going to happen? The ocean is warming up and acidifying.
They’ve also been overfishing for decades. This was inevitable as long as the fishing industry gained significant power in setting quotas.

I'm more concerned with the ecological impact, eating these animals is how we got into this problem to begin with.
