Millennials are blessed with options our parents didn’t have. Why focus just on housing?

why focus just on the most expensive essential cost of living whose affordability is rapidly spiralling out of control and out of reach? have you considered that there are also festivals?

the guardian always had some extremely shit takes obviously, but i feel like the guardian of five or ten years ago would not have published an article like this. theyve been writing glowingly uncritical articles about shit like bringing retirees back into the workforce etc lately too

This sounds like me when I'm arguing with my inner demons lol. "You know, you're actually doing okay for your age. I'm sure things will turn out better soon - and do you really want what your parents had at your age? Look how they ended up."

Maybe if it was written by a naïve 20 year old it could be understandable, but to be this fucking stupid at 30 is really something

Being this insufferable is a lifestyle choice. Imagine going to the same house parties in George St for the next decade. Arrested development.
