:chomsky-yes-honey:
I’m just cackling and slowly turning into dust as I point out space invaders was a game from my thirties.
:gigachad-hd:
I was laughing about the term Boomer Shooter the other day until I saw Half Life was on the list :thinking-about-it:
I am just going to assume this is one of those jokes, where when you check if the calculation is correct it turns out they are actually 22 or something
nah it was 11/11/11
And actually kids born then are gonna turn 11 soon :thonk:
You're going to die N'wah, you're going to die! (Of old age before TES6)
Does the game hold up, though? Or is it better to just play Valo?
If you've never played it it can be fun to explore. It's easy to get into. It holds up on its own, but mods hold it up much more. Any aspect of it that feels stiff today was stiff back then, too, but that didn't detract much from my enjoyment.
Valorant is a totally different kind of game. I wouldn't really put the two in the same conversation.
Combat sucks, story sucks, rpg elements suck, but there are a lot of places to explore.
Literally "turn your brain off and you'll enjoy it" the game.
