  • My professor just had a problem where you had to describe a current flowing either counter-clockwise or clockwise. However, the answer choices were "left to right" or "right to left".

Am I the only one who thinks this is an absolutely horrible question as it entirely depends on students' guessing if the professor meant "left to right" going up or "left to right" going down.

  • Ever heard of that third one. Adding it to my watch list, thanks for the rec!

I'll second Umineko, but the anime is straight trash. The VN is really the only medium worth watching imo. You can torrent it but I think it's also on steam although it's pretty expensive and it has terrible character models. Just torrent it anyway.

Edit: I forgot the manga for Umineko is actually really good too. If you don't want to torrent anything that's the next best thing.

If you like that, the same author also did something similar in Higurashi but instead of mystery novels it's dating sims. The anime for that is better but still misses some minor points. Steam version of the VNs also have terrible character models so torrenting is your best bet as well.

  • These questions are almost certainly unanswerable

They literally already answered this though. The Nephilim were essentially giant half-man half-angels who could do magic and were better than humans in every conceivable way. They got labeled as evil because they didn't worship god and they eventually went extinct. Except for like a few that survived and showed up at various points in the bible.

I highly doubt a religious tradition about having your homeland destroyed and then being forced to wander the world for 2000 years couldn't find some explanation.

  • This theory is usually combined with the official story as well. It's not that the secret service just did it while going over a bump but he grabbed his gun in response to the original shot from Oswald and then also shot JFK.

This explains the magic bullet element of the case to a certain extent.

  • I wouldn't necessarily say I enjoy grocery shopping as much as I reflexively compare prices / deals when out shopping.

It's not unpleasant by any means but I find it stimulating because I usually plan out my meals for the next few weeks or so while at the store. Instead of planning for meals and then buying the items despite the price, I find the most economical stuff and get a meal plan from there. Sale on strawberries? That's going in the oatmeal for the next two weeks. Dinged cans of tuna on clearance? That's my lunch when I don't want beans.

Once I get my food staples down, flour, rice, oatmeal, and onions, I pretty much mix and match everything else.

  • It's pretty based but probably not a good hill to die on tbh. If you're ever in court just shut up, act sorry, and respect the judge. Judges are more or less rulers of their own tiny fiefdom and will give you harsher sentencing if you don't kiss their ass.

Of course, there's something to be said about protest in the courtroom etc etc. But this is on a similar level as climate change protestors who throw paint on the side of a building and turns themselves in. It doesn't really contribute to a better society but it sure hurts you in court.

  • I’m not saying I could take a wolf because I can’t predict my mental state. But there’s no reason why a human couldn’t physically win against a wolf the majority of the time.

If you think anyone with their arm or leg being mauled will be doing anything other than freaking out then you are mistaken.

Wow, weird how the first sentence of my comment addressed your entire screed. You didn't even read one sentence did you? Go off I guess.

Please for the love of god actually read the shit you reply to.
