Republicans are fascists but somehow democrats are not. Democrats just "aren't living up to their potential" or are "a bit disappointing" . It doesn't matter that democrats have headed the invasions of several countries and have bombed/drone-striked/sanctioned millions of people in other countries. In fact this is so unimportant the author doesn't even mention it! It doesn't matter that democrats are subservient to corporate donors, like republicans, and have propped up fascist states that are kind to capital, like republicans, they're different! This is because the democrats were nice enough to vulgarize and appropriate movements until they were semi-compatible with capitalist exploitation! Oh and I almost forgot all that the democrats have done to help.... and when they..... that was really great! I'm casting my ballot right now (I voted for Hillary to purge myself of the cardinal sin of not voting in 2016) :xi-vote:

Liberal Realist : Omg silly lefty if we keep propping up the fascist state eventually the kind blue corporate puppets will beat out the mean red corporate puppets and they'll give us all of our rights out of the goodness of their hearts. People in other countries don't even exist because I can't see them!
