I think we should spring forward but abolish falling back. Every year.

Just make the entire country one time zone, and you just have to know which hours it is daylight and which hours it's nighttime in a given part of the world :shrug-outta-hecks:

You already have to be aware of that anyway, because for example up here in kkkanada it's day for like 22 hours during the summer, and also there are some weird situations where the sun rises a good 3 hours later at one latitude vs another in the same time zone

My relationship to the clock has much more to do with my work hours and the operating hours of businesses than it does to the sun. All I care about is that when I leave work it’s sunny out. That happens under daylight time.

Permanent standard time instead or I’ll launch a protracted guerilla conflict (climbing the capitol building undetected in the pitch black morning to flip off senators as they walk in)

someone told me it was daylight savings and I got excited because I'd have an extra hour of sleep tonight but nope it's fucking next week and I'm up an hour and a half later than I should be

Why dst and not standard time? I'm AZ based so haven't needed to ever change, and if we have to to be on the same schedule as same longitude states I'm going to be miffed

Standard time was created when everyone had to get up before sunrise to work on the farm. In the modern day we go to work after sunrise, and get home at or after sunset. DST would make it so that, for most of the year, the average person would get off work with the sun still out.

        CRUICIAL

Nothing is worse than only seeing the sun while you're fucking squinting at it and then never again until Saturday

Just change the workday though. I just don't get why standard isn't standard

If we can’t even get the clock switching to stop you think anyone is capable of changing the workday and operating hours across the country? Lol.
