    We had about 70 trick or treater's last night. We have a lot of positive factors working for us:

    • It's a 1940's neighborhood, so houses are a lot closer together than modern suburbs
    • We actually have sidewalks
    • There are a lot of immigrant families living here, so kids actually exist

    Most American suburbs have a totally hostile geography to trick or treating. Apartment complexes could in principle have enough density and kids to support it, but in practice everything is behind locked lobby doors.
