    Hey remember that time when Iranian PM Mohammad Mossadegh tried to go against Western interests and the CIA took control of virtually every media company in the country to spout propaganda, hired people to march in the street against him (and "for" him, while being as awful as possible), bribed religious leaders, members of parliament, vote counters, and anyone else who would take their money, all while the country was suffering immense poverty due to a blockade and a long history of exploitation, and Mossadegh did basically nothing to crack down or solidify power because of his firm belief in liberal democratic ideals like :freeze-peach:?

    Fortunately, it turned out that idealism is correct so the CIA failed to oust him because of how morally correct he was which is why Iran remains a shining beacon of freedom and democracy to this day.
