I think this attack and Jan 6th show it's actually not necessarily going to be more violence against marginalized people. To be clear - there will be violence against the marginalized, but unfortunately that's ongoing. Mass shooters, police violence, hate crimes, so many different forms of violence have already scaled up. I think what these recent events indicate is that the fascists are beginning to attack the Liberal political class as well. We see them malding at both democratic libs and 'conservatives' :same-picture: who don't go far enough to enable their goals, ie Liz Cheney and Mike Pence.
As fascists get more bold I expect the ongoing violence against the marginalized to continue, and that's a bad thing, but it's interesting that they're finally targeting the people in actual positions of power too. That's an important shift in how the Liberal political class will treat fascists.
