They are, people tend to look only at Kim Il-sung and think that the Soviets only built the government with Kim and his comardes. When in reality the DPRK government was composed of members of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea.

It's because he adds too many ruffles, creases, crevices, etc. to a fairly plain art style and colour palette. It ends up clashing as well as making everything look kinda' dirty.

A lot of people seem to think everyone is in the same capitalist stage as the imperial core (no lol) and therefore we are just exporting liberal "democracy" and thus opposition to the west is just anti-liberalism. Boiling everything down to anti-liberalism is a way to sustain a mandate of the advanced countries. So long as the West isn't imploding into total reactionary chaos and the non-western world isn't 100% anarcho-communist, American libs and socdems think the advanced countries get to dictate world capitalism under globalization and especially under the crisis of globalization as people reject it for various reasons (progressive or reactionary)
