Very cool and good to gatekeep knowledge and theory from people who may be interested in leftist ideas for the first time in their lives. :reddit-logo: mod brain is a terminal illness.

Getting banned by r/communism mods is almost a leftist rite of passage

I remember that subreddit had a really aggressive, rude mod who was always accusing people of being undialectical or unscientific and his name was like "smokeupdaweed69"

lmao, happened to me too. The fucking sub for questions about communism bans you if they get the slightest inkling that you didn't come out of the womb a fully formed Marxist-Leninist.

The mod bot didn't mention what sub it was, just that I had a history of reactionary posting behavior. I appealed it, thinking wtf I'm not a reactionary. A mod then told me I'm a reactionary for having previously posted in r/sandersforpresident and muted me before I could respond . Not even during the campaign, this was several months after he had lost in 2020 and I was interested in learning more about communism.

If it's not an op, it's indistinguishable from one. I hope Elon Musk buys :reddit-logo: and destroys that too when he's done with twitter.

While I'm sure the venn diagram of Pewdiepie fans that would be supportive of him wearing Klan robes is close to a circle they typically don't like to brag about it.

you have to have a very high IQ to understand PewDiePie. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical Swedish most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Pewd’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterization- his personal philosophy draws heavily from the German literature of the year 1925, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about YouTube. As a consequence, people who dislike PewDiePie truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humor in Pewd's existential catchphrase "Skattar Du Förlorar Du", which itself is a cryptic reference to Felix Kjellberg’s epic Svart Man På Bron. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Brad’s genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools. how I pity them.

And yes, by the way, I DO have a Bitch Lasagna tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the 9 year olds’ eyes only- and even then, they have to demonstrate that they've done their part beforehand.

r/communism is one of the only places that I am absolutely positive is an op. Not only do they do nothing to encourage understanding of leftist thinking and turning to leftist thinking, but their actual understanding of posting, theory, and history is more asinine that even the most cloistered trotskyists and more pointlessly violent than a newly minted gonzalite.

A cursed place that must be purged from the internet.

It doesn't exist for you to learn, it exists to assure the moderator that they are the One True Marxist, by a process of elimination. That they fully and exclusively control.
