She and her husband made over $100 million exploiting an intentional loophole in insider trading laws that means it’s Totally Fine and Legal for her to share insider information she learns in her role as a congresswoman with her husband for him to inform his stock trades.

So if he’s unable to return to work following the violent assault, what point is there in her returning to work?

Imagine being that old and that rich and not logging the fuck off.

Like jesus you're a barely animate waxxed corpse and the only thing you can think of to do with your nine digit wealth is sitting in Washington bending all your remaining energy to making sure good things don't happen?

        Utterly, inhumanely, incomprehensibly monstrous.

Apparently literally :liberalism: is better than $90,000,000 of fun money whose spending has no effect whatsoever on their entire lineage for 3 generations

A staffer wheels Nancy's gilded sarcophagus out onto the floor of the House. The lid slides open with a hiss as a fetid stench like the rotting of a thousand corpses wrapped in piss-soaked linens fills the air. The assembled Democratic representatives kneel as their matriarch rasps in an otherworldly voice, "GOOD MORNING. SUNDAY MORNING."

As they kneel, they dare not look up. A single gaze upon her unholy visage would be enough to destroy them. Their blood runs cold as their yassss kween emerges from her tomb.

      "Remember....to.....vote"

Her mouth was still, but the words still burrowed into their heads. They dare not upset Metal Gear Pelosi.

      Don't think. You're a democrat. ......Just.................vote..........................

Add it to the list of extremely successful demonstrations of individual adventurism actually working.

I mean, it doesn't bring anyone any closer to socialism but that's not an outcome I expected.

the guy who tried to primary her seems infinitely better than her, so i guess it gives him a chance to beat whatever handpicked ghoul the party would back.

I'm telling you, drunk Italians taking the opportunity presented to them and gunning down the king in the spur of the moment is Praxis!

        Like... Yes. lol

Put it this way, if you want better Democrats and the current Democrats won't fucking quit so their seats can be filled by lukewarm milquetoast DSA members then a few events with a hammer might solve that.

Remember that time they put the Pope on trial for Heresy years after he died? Good times.

I honestly don't know how to interpret this, is she going to retire to spend time with her husband or has this motivated her to never retire so the terrorists don't win?
