The thing he doesn't understand is that in America you can't kill someone who is stealing your property no matter what idiots on the right say. You can only exercise deadly force when your life is in danger. I can't just drive around looking for break-ins and start blasting.
I hate to be the one to tell you, but that’s not true. In Texas it is absolutely legal to kill people who are stealing or damaging property. It doesn’t even have to be property that belongs to you or anyone you know! It doesn’t even have to be valuable or tangible! Even to the point that a man who shot a sex worker in the neck for not sleeping with him after he paid was acquitted by a jury.
If you’d like to read more Texas horror stories just read that linked article. People have been acquitted in Texas for killing children because they tried to steal snacks. Shit’s fucked.
