First time I ever got into a Tesla, the driver (my uncle) tried to show me the FSD and it immediately tried to put the car on the wrong side of the yellow line. Luckily there were no other cars coming, but he didn't try to show it off again after that lmao.

I can always tell who the new Tesla drivers are, because they blast through the grocery store parking lot at 35, ignoring stop signs and crosswalks the whole way.

what-the-hell I assume that's mph, though in kph that's fast too.

I've seen tesla drivers swerve through traffic like they're motorbikes too, dangerous people own these vehicles.

A long time ago I visited some relatives in Scottsdale, Arizona. The city was filled with retirees including some of the people I was visiting. In a very crowded parking lot there was nearly an accident caused by a driver reversing out of a parking space so slowly - he almost hit a pedestrian. My uncle made me really laugh when he said that two things could put you in the hospital. An old person going way too slow or a young person going way too fast.

An old lady hit me in a parking lot. Her excuse "well I looked one way."

Nobody will pay me millions of dollars to use my semi-autonomous pedestrian murderbot software? Truly wokeism has gone too far.

Now I'm curious, was the original purpose of releasing "Full Self-Driving" 20 years before it was safe a merely a ploy to lock in trade mark rights?

it would be quite a bit safer with lidar but melon-musk is such a piece of shit his cars don't use it.

"full self-driving" is nowhere near "full" and is only vaguely self-driving and it should be illegal to call it that.

Yeah, but it would still fail when the lidar gets "adversarially attacked" by a fucking shadow moving in just the wrong way

          100% agreed
