I got the nardoragon base and re-colored it myself. Rigging was surprisingly easy as long as you have some background in following youtube tutorials closely. I had zero unity and blender experience as of last week, and I still managed to recolor and add clothes. It took a few tries, but I finally got it to work. There are scripts that make rigging clothes easy, and as long as you pick a common/popular avatar, there is tons of premade clothes and accessories.
I'm actually thinking about opening up my weekly drawfee watch party for others to join and watch along.
6k tris? That's nothing. I've seen people do VR chat designs with 50,000 on a cushion model because they wanted it to look good
My vrchat avatar is 72k hahaha
Uft. I want to get a custom avatar but $$$ and I don't really want to learn how to do modelling and rigging right now. Did you make your avatar?
