I'm conflicted; on the one hand, it would have been better had he died, on the other, the people who killed him would have been arrested/killed by the cops. Hopefully he has some internal injury that leads to death down the road.
despite this hellscape that is the U.S. it's slightly un-blackpilling knowing that there is still a critical mass of decent people who will protect their friends and family no matter what. over time, more and more people have LGBTQ+ as loved ones, partners, or family and will arm up or fuck someone up without question no matter their ideological alignment.

and organized community self-defense might be the best way to reintroduce the apolitical to the power of collective action and help kill some brainworms
