Yeah I mean what the actual fuck are they teaching in Journalism school? An investigative reporter should start with the baseline assumption that anyone at all with any vested interest in the story they are investigating is in some way hiding the truth either by lying or indirectly because they themselves are being lied to or are mistaken.
