Destiny is like the Bill Maher of political internet personalities. He liked Bernie for a hot minute and now spends all his time talking about how the left has gone too far for a reasonable "lefty" like himself.

“Real jobs” and “paid too much” are some very huge red flags. And not the cool kind.

They are still alienated from the fruits of their labor. Odds are good they are not overpaid, but are producing more value than they get paid. Possibly not at a 100 x 1 ratio as with some jobs.

Even then, it’s still a job. All jobs are real, this horse was beaten and executed and then brought back from dead, beaten again, brought back, killed again.

The vast majority of Fascists are exploited workers. Having to participate in the Capitalist mode of production does not inherently make someone a good or valuable person. Their material interests and their revolutionary potential are what's relevant. Middle class people have almost no reason to adopt radical politics, and they don't. It's basic material analysis.

              Epic

Do you have a specific part you take issue with? I'd be happy to point you to an introduction to Marxism.

I really didn't intend to insult any office workers here, it just seems extremely obvious to me that a community of comfortable freaks who despise the Far Left are going to have an economic basis to match.

I was objecting to the tone of the response I got, which is clearly "they're workers, therefore they're good."

Idk if the response to that is to imply that they’re bad or deserving of suffering because they don’t have any revolutionary potential.

                Maybe I misread you tho.
