This seems overengineered compared to just opiates. And now I can't hold her hand.
Once again, Capitalism is selling us consumer goods with extra features to overcharge us extra and it ends up alienating us from our love ones, smh.
honestly whatever happened to a good old fashioned bomb vest?
nah a lotta the time its just you go unconscious and stop breathiing so any pain, discomfort, anxiety or any other anything is pretty much nonexistent when you die like that.... if you are at the point of choking on your vomit theres a 1000% chance youve already went unconsciousanywhere from minutes to like an hour before (deending on dose, drug , and route)
nitrous oxide instead of nitrogen might be a more interesting choice. disassociatives already the ultimate near death experience.
correct me if im wrong but ive heard that theres a lot of nausea involved in opiates overdosing?
Well look I'm not an anæsthetist, but I know there are ways of giving someone lethal drugs besides this gizmo. Injections, orally, normal gas masks like a dentist uses.
Now just imagine the headline if a Chinese company made this.
If you can push the button yourself from the inside then doesn’t that make it an unassisted suicide pod?
But for real this is nightmarish and I hate it.
life is a nightmare knowing the inevitability and unpredictability of death and the frailty of the body
Its pretty expensive compared to lots of europe. But yeah the euthenasia iirc is all very doctor-supervised and I think only for cases of terminal illness
By per capita expenditure, Swiss healthcare is the 2nd most expensive in the world after the American, of course. It’s mandatory for everyone and here’s how it works for us working class.
The lowest you can pay is 300 CHF/USD a month, but depends on private insurance.
This means you then pay the first 2500 CHF of medical cost per year out of your own pocket.
The next 7000 CHF of costs per year you pay 10% of, i.e. 700 CHF.
If your costs per year are bigger still, you don’t pay anything now, it’s 100% covered but I’ve never went that far myself.
There are no „preexisting conditions“, haggling, and other nonsense and sometimes the medical gear you need is immediately covered in 100%.
The medical bills are still hilariously stupid looking where you are sometimes charged per minute of conversation with doctors and the beginning of the conversation is charged differently than the end or the middle of the conversation …
just a few years ago this would have been like an art sculpture installation or performance art thing instead of being an actual startup firm
Haha okay I posed for your funny picture, let me out now, please.
IMO the only time assisted suicide should be an option is during hospice.
I've been thinking a lot about dying lately but the fact these things are becoming so common and prominent snaps me back to reality...
Man too angry to die.
