Very little. I'm so self conscious about it. That's where a lot of my anxiety comes from about transitioning.
It's okay, it is a lot of work. I still get tons of anxiety about my femme-er voice, it's been easier and easier the more I use it with people. I literally couldn't practice when anyone was home at first cause I was so self-conscious and anxious about it.
for super casual one-off interactions (drive-thrus, etc) just upping the pitch of your voice a bit and softening how you speak can go a long ways
otherwise there are resources on youtube, but it's one of the hardest aspects of transitioning imo
that anxiety is totally understandable! the best advice i can give you is that it will take time. you prob also feel the need to "grind out" voice training to get to where you want to be as fast as possible. sadly, that's not exactly how it works and not exactly possible aha.
the process will take time, and the process of taking that time is a huge huge learning experience. you will have to learn to meet yourself where you're at, always, which takes a LOT of self love and acceptance. transitioning is weirdly a highly dialectical process, which is really cool but also means it will take patience. it's kind of like learning to skateboard or anything else really, in that it takes time and practice but once it becomes a part of your regular routine you will only improve!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfCS01MkbIY I found this channel to have some really interesting and helpful videos on voice training, and when you are first building up your routine it will definitely help to just pick one of the voice training videos and practice along. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xzqooY6Ygj9L9PgocRuEjBMTdU3mywyP/view this should give you the basics. definitely take a look around reddit for guides and stuff but do be warned there is A LOT of misinfo on voice training.
also feel free to contact me here if u need advice or someone to talk to!
Congrats!!!! We all love and support you!!! :trans-heart: :flag-trans-pride: :cat-trans:
