Yes, Battle of Brest Fortress and T-34 (I think it's called?) are good if you don't mind some nostalgia for the red army's glory days. The former one is a bit more serious and is about a last stand, but both are good hype movies in which Communists fight Nazis and often come out on top.

Idk if OP should watch this one if she's looking for better vibes. Definitely one of those films where each scene feels darker and more despondent than the last.

Yeah you're probably right. I personally loved that shit but I could see how it's possibly the wrong vibe.
Don't get me wrong, I love that movie too. It's just not a cheer up movie.
