Damn, I completely forgot about the BW remake. They mostly just redid the graphics, added an APM counter, and made other QoL changes. D2R and WC3R both had gameplay changes as well as graphics updates.
The remake was done mostly for the esports scene, who do not want the gameplay to change. Besides the APM counter, I think the Starcraft remake also has native spectator mode. It didn't really add a whole lot if you just played the campaign. They didn't manage to fuck it up like they did with WC3, and they haven't made changes to the gameplay like they're doing with D2R, so that's probably why it flew below most people's radar. All the patch notes from the remake onwards are just bug fixes. Meanwhile, D2R has already introduced new runewords and added new endgame content called terror zones.
