The introduction already has me crying and I haven't even started the video yet:

"This training contains a 5-minute video that educates our team members on what a union is and why at ********* we do not think a union is in their best interest."

Sadly, our turnover is so high that I'm not sure a union would work, but it would be awesome if it did. Especially since I'm pretty sure I'm getting screwed since they made me salary even tho I still technically do regular work at my store.

    • Managers may not say anything that may be considered a threat or a promise in response to engaging or not engaging in union activity.

    • Managers cannot ask or interrogate team members about union activities or question team members about who is supporting the union or why people want a union.

    • Managers may not spy on team members who may be engaging in union activities but can observe their conduct in working areas.

But I'm also supposed to report any sign of union activity to my manager and a special email address set up by the company. :thinking-about-it:

Oh, and since my company loves acronyms, the above is listed as "TIPS". Can't Threaten Interrogate Promise or Spy

Anyone have some brain bleach now that I'm done "acknowledging" that I have read this bullshit?

If it's not an email address specific to your store, you should occasionally report managers at other stores of agitating.
