Sorry to Christopher Nolan for ever thinking every single cop in Gotham City going into that one tunnel at the same time was unrealistic lmao
Riverside County Sheriff's deputy shot to death In California, massive police chase with the suspect underway on the 15 Freeway. There are reports of shots fired.
I'm always comforted by the fact law enforcement is filled with complete dumb asses that are unable to function during large moments of civil unrest. Feel bad for the dude who's got the full hog army after them though.
Yeah he was summarily executed shortly after this fun video. In bad country no rights, etc. etc.
Unironically just viewing Western cops as low-skill enemies with ridiculous numbers and gear is extremely helpful to fight doomerism. Dont view life entirely as a video game, but keep that in mind.
In other words:
Con - If you take down a single cop, they can send waves more after you (in some cities)
UNDERRATED Pro - If they're angry enough they might act as a monolith and send them all to one place, like a boss battle where the boss has a giant slow hammer he has to pull out of the ground with every swing
Honestly reminds me of the kind of stuff the IRA took advantage of to easily draw out targets during The Troubles
I think there may actually be more cop cars here than in the Blues Brothers!
Imagine some mass shooting happening and no one responded because literally the entire police department was in a low speed chase
that seems to be very ineffective , until you realize the Purpose is to Intimitade & Scare the Population..
Cops tend to go way overboard, like a while ago some squatters near me had their house invaded and they were arrested by cops. Over 100 cops showed up to arrest like less than ten people who weren't even hurting anyone
Once in my youth I got tagged for weed in my car and had no less than 5 cop cars show up.
Unsurprising. I live in SoCal, and cops in Riverside County have a reputation for stupidity and incompetence even among other cops.
