I was huge MW2 fan back in the 1996s, almost one of my first PC games. I never played MW1 or MW3 but thoroughly enjoyed MW4. It's too bad that the series is now owned by Bad Company #953487543. I wanted to play the strategy game spinoff, too, but that's lost in time for me.
I actually had MW2 "Titanium Edition" and never understood what the differences in all the MW2 variants were. Customing mechs was bad ass, also being able to turn on/off "Wire Frame Mode" (pics: https://imgur.com/a/24k7LWs) was just the coolest shit ever.
There's a bit of magic there that these days is replaced with dumb hollow shit like "purchase spiderman DLC/skin".

I’ve been playing the 2018 turn based Battletech game. It’s going really well now that I understand the turn orders and how to use the “reserve action” to make my scout mech useful at actual scouting for my indirect fire support mech.
Been a big mechwarrior fan since 3, I used to play in a clan on MSN gaming zone way back when and I had no idea what was going on beyond mechs shooting each other. Inner Sphere? Clans? I’m just here to shoot flamers :grillman:
was there a mechwarrior on SNES? i remember playing one constantly that had pretty simple 3d and was all about balancing heat mechanics. i would overbuild mechs and just keep hopping in and out of the ocean to cool down.
:cereal1: obviously they wouldn't have made that

ahhhh that's it. wow it looks like poop but also kind of mind blowing for SNES. i always forget there were games like pilot wings that had rudimentary 3d engines
Love this guy!
he got me back into modding Morrowind after a long break, those quest mods he reviews are some good shit. :marx-ok:
