tentative but enthusiastic recommendation as I haven't finished it but have loved what I've played thus far. Insofar as I have experienced the story (just got to expired grove) it is fundamentally anticrabitalist.
gameplay loop is fun, the combat and movement feels really polished, the dialogue and bits have been consistently good (gotten a few good chuckles outta me), has good accessibility options for if soulslikes aren't your wheelhouse and it's the only real souls-adjacent game with an arthropod protagonist (silksong literally never)

I did some voice acting for this game. I won’t say which character so I don’t doxx myself but it was a lot of fun
Okay, okay, let's pince him; let's pince this guy; let's pince him to death with claws.
He's the best to ever do it! (And my it I mean wandering around lost in the starting area for an hour while arguing with chat about Coke Zero)
I've seen a few people stream this and it looks fun.
Kind of like if N64 era Rare decided to make a souls game
Saw NL play it and it looked pretty cool, didn't know it was made by Aggro Crab so I guess I have to play it now
