Reporting from the ground that one encampment member was taken out on a stretcher. Zionist attackers then threw their fireworks towards it.

    Elsewhere...

At Columbia cops threw protestors down a flight of stairs, then denied access to EMS or medical help despite the fact that one was unconcious.

At Washington University St Louis, video has come out of police tackling and beating a professor for filming a police assualt. He's still in hospital multiple broken bones and in the video you can see the bicycle cop deliberately breaking his ribs while he's restrained on the ground.

Every EMS I've known has hated cops with a white hot vengeance. One paramedic I knew said if they saw a cop blocking their way to a scene ever again they'd just accelerate.

As for the professor, bold of the cops to antagonise the usually easy to appease haute intelligentsia.

I know of one exception, an ex friend who was trying to get hired as a trainee cop after working as a licensed EMT for a little while. Comic book brained-ass individual

Good, cleaving liberals from the left is absolutely necessary to move forward. This genocide, and the war in the donbas to a lesser extent, has been a good filter to get the imperialists to show their ass

It's not enough to draw lines between liberals and leftists. Ultimately we need to convince a lot of people (almost certainly a lot of now-liberals) to get on our side if we're going to accomplish anything.

I would make a distinction between soft liberals, who are generally left-leaning normies who just absorbed the ambient ideology around them, and the hardcore, "uhm acktually" neolibs who are as rabidly imperialist and anticommunist as any fascist. The latter should be treated the same as chuds

That's definitely a useful distinction, but I don't think you treat the latter group like chuds -- they're the ones who articulate that ambient ideology the former group nods along to. Dismiss or attack a group someone already disagrees with (chuds) and that group will give you broad latitude, or even cheer you on. Dismiss or attack the sacred cows of liberal spaces and those "soft liberals" will tell themselves that you didn't actually address what was said.

Remember, when the campus protests first entered the news cycle, it was all about how Zionist students felt unsafe even though no one had actually been harmed in any way?

"Unsafe" gets thrown around way too much, and not just by right-wing freaks. Absent a plausible physical threat, there's no safety issue.

The claims being obviously bogus and weaponized in this case doesn't mean you have to go full stupidpol and pretend that opression starts only when somebody gets punched. There's tons of ways to make a space unsafe while it maintains a perfectly civil appearance.

There's tons of ways to make a space unsafe while it maintains a perfectly civil appearance.

Those ways would fall under "plausible physical threats." Absent that, we're talking about people being uncomfortable (which can also be bad and may warrant addressing), but that's not the same as unsafe.

It's going to happen. Gun violence in "self defense" has been completely normalized in this country. It's going to be way worse than Kent State by the time this is over.

Just look at how Israel and the US define self defense (or just defense). Defense for Israel is carpet bombing a tiny area packed with 2M people. Defense is starving them. Defense for the US is giving $100B, more or less, to FOREIGN COUNTRIES to help fight proxy wars (Ukraine), fund a genocide (Israel), and agitate another massive nuclear superpower (Taiwan). The US hasn't fought a fucking defensive war since WWII.

They have killed all the old trickster Gods and replaced them with glib Marvel™ Gods that show everything as an evil vs good paradigm, and it really accelerated the ratchet effect of rightward movement and civil unrest.

The trickster gods gave away the game too much. It showed the way that people were being manipulated, and it taught how to manipulate others. Now it's mob mentality over random culture war bullshit while people suffer here and abroad under Amerikkkas boot, and we get told we are the extreme ones because we ask for something in return for our tax dollars, like healthcare or a say in foreign policy. Hell, we can't even protest anymore
