Games lose me after about 20 hours max. There are exceptions, like Baldurs Gate 3, but I'm not playing 100 hours of Persona 3. Without a compelling narrative, they've played their hand by that point or took too long to get to the fun part. My best example is Alan Wake 1, which was fun until it went on doing the same thing for 10 hours longer than I thought it should and didn't move the plot much. I finished it, but I wasn't happy about it anymore.

About the same here. Last game I beat was Cult of the Lamb, which took about 24 hours and that length felt about perfect, leaving me with absolutely no interest in doing any of the "postgame" after beating the final boss.

The only exceptions for me are games with a substantial creative element, like city builders, or games with tons of mods (and often those two categories overlap).

I remember getting somewhere around 60 hours in the PS2 version a couple years apart before losing interest, so I did attempt to finish it twice. I'm even playing SMT Nocturne right now, so it wasn't a dig at JRPGs, just really long ones.
