I think it's the canary in the coal mine. Someone here once compared liberals to slimes that mold themselves to whatever conditions exist, "absorbomorphism" they called this. They change shape when pressured into doing so because they won't get what they want or because they don't fit in correctly.

Among Gen Z the norms are so significantly different that people adapting to it stand out as having to drastically change.

I'm not saying they're going to bring about socialism but canaries like this one can tell us that things are going to be very different.
