You are horrified at our intending to do away with private property. But in your existing society, private property is already done away with for nine-tenths of the population; its existence for the few is solely due to its non-existence in the hands of those nine-tenths. You reproach us, therefore, with intending to do away with a form of property, the necessary condition for whose existence is the non-existence of any property for the immense majority of society.

My dad once told me that Bill Gates buying up a bunch of land was evidence that he was securing a food supply in preparation for a communist take-over (as opposed to a rich person investing in shit). When I told him that communists aren't exactly known for respecting billionaires' land rights, he responded, "Well, not unless you're the one on top!"

    Landlord Mao.

    :mao-wtf:

    Landlord Mao.

I mean, so much the premise hinges on the belief that Bill Gates is either going to be implementing Perfectly Roboticized Farms some time in the near future (Galt's Gulch Techno-futurist fantasy that Randroids love) or that he'll be sipping lemonade in a white cotton suit while overseers with big whips keep the human labor in line (the White Nationalist Return to Tradition fantasy that neo-confederates love).

Neither want to come to terms with the modern moment or to address all the layers of bureaucracy necessary to make capitalist controls work.

I wish one person in this whole country that hated communism actually understood what it was. I genuinely would love an honest debate, but Pfizer is communist, Leonardo di caprio is communist, blackrock is communist, CNN is communist, moderate republicans are communist, Monsanto is communist. Joseph Stalin and Mao, not Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan, were the cause of 60 million dead on ALL FRONTS in WW2. 9/11 was a communist plot! Pluto being a planetoid rather than a planet is communist. Corn syrup in our coka cola is communist. Things changing price is communist. This is just a small sample size of the shit I hear.

At this point, I think if I ever do activism, I'll hide my power level and claim that I am a conservative, adopt conservative talking points to argue in favor of leftism.

For example, I support climate legislation because it protects the property values of countless individuals. Claiming that they should all live with pollution because porky is too lazy to clean up after himself is collectivism. I support climate legislation because of these studies that show that pollution decreases testosterone.

I appreciate it, but it won't work. The same way libs can't be sheep dipped into communism, conservatives have about 1000 different social customs and thought terminating cliches to stop themselves from getting sheep dipped into socialism. its good to focus on material things though, that cuts through all the bull shit.

Yes of course: A pound of Organic(TM) bug flour is ten hours of wage. Add oats and water to make four meals with it.

On the one hand, you have "Snowpiercer" - a show about people having their children kidnapped to work in the engine-car mines while they subsist on bug-goop and languish in misery. This is Communism because they don't own anything. And we are supposed to believe their rebellion is actually a bourgeois revolution that will implement a liberalized new world order.

On the other hand, you have "Fight Club" - a show about people who can't get laid and are so angry about it that they brawl with each other to prove their manliness. They live in a big frat house and eat pissed-in slop because cooking is Women's Work. This is Patriotic, because they have submitted themselves to an Alpha Male who owns everything on their behalf. And we are supposed to believe their rebellion is actually a proletariat revolution that will implement an AnPrim return to nature because they all act like hooting apes.

There's really no winning, when you filter any kind of media through the MAGA mindset. Whatever shape of a message you insert - with its intricate nuanced dimensions and oblique messages carved, rune-like, into its surface - will be buffed out and smoothed over by their powerful minds. It all comes out the back end in the shape of a perfectly shiny undigested oblong turd.
