Americans just can't do spite like the British. The British really perfected casual social cruelty

no c-t in the UK just isn't considered a hateful word it's just considered another swear word.

British culture does however have a high tolerance for bullying and belittling in casual conversation

I still remember returning to the main gaming board of a prominent gaming message board after taking a break for a few years and seeing almost every topic on the board be about "Anita"

My initial reaction was :jesse-wtf: followed by a feeling of being one of the astronauts from Planet of the Apes, like yeah that place sucked before I left but back then it was just console war nonsense and a few weirdos who hated any game not made in :amerikkka: at the worst

So I do enough sorting through that garbage to find out she made youTube videos and I watch one to see what all the fuss is about

"That's it? That's what those fucking piss babies were so mad about?"

Made no sense to me, she wasn't calling for any video games to be banned like Jack Thompson or anything, she just made a few mild criticisms that were mostly true

The closest I ever came to watching Jerry Springer was in high school earth science class when we got ahead of the material and our teacher let the class decide what to watch on tv near the end of the year but for me I ignored it and it was just another day, I already played video games through that class and the teacher couldn't say shit because I got straight As

Still our teacher was pretty cool, he did have us watch Fern Gully and I put down the Nintendo DS for that one

Yeah though, I can imagine how a British version would be worse
