Wish I could say we got some bangers out of it, but the only song I've really vibed with outside of the context of dunking on Drake is Euphoria. But he never shows any texts or calls between the fake mole and Kendrick's team which would've discredited Kendrick's claims. Concocting a story about you and your friends being pedophile sex traffickers doesn't seem like it'll benefit you at all, and on top of that, he also seems very upset in this track despite saying he's not tilted which doesn't seem like a reaction one would have if you gave your opp fake info and anticipated it'll be used against you lol.

I don't think Drake's story is that inconsistent, if we take him at face value there could just be the real mole that gave the Ozempic/Ambien info, (the clown Drake talks about, who presumably also gave the info about OVO protecting pedophiles ) as well as a double agent mole that fed Kendrick the daughter story. That said, it still doesn't check out given the lack of evidence which would be trivial for Drake to produce, even if there is a world where Kendrick now has to back down if he feels the weight of the proof he has has been called into question before he even reveals it.

It's still weird to name drop the girl who's subject of criminal abuse speculation - you'd think a smart person would avoid mentioning names at all. But Kendrick called him uncalculated so lol

i've been about as sympathetic to drake in this as someone who thinks drake is mostly incredibly corny can be, but pretty damning which i missed because i dont catalogue all of kendrick's trauma/only listened to his latest record two times probably, from genius:

I think it's a little of column a, a little of column b in that a lot was predictable; but I also think there's only one or two leaks EXTREMELY CLOSE to Drake at the same time. i'm not sure there's a possible way to combat these sorts of allegations; obviously pointing out that drake's "too famous" could barely be considered exculpatory -- framing the issue as projection from kendrick and refocusing on kendrick's absenteeism is as good a swing as any.
You're right that you can't really combat them, but Drake has two definitive pieces of evidence that prove that he is a nonce or groomer, and they even contradict a couple lines in his song lol. But, if Drake was actually telling the truth about Kendrick, he could've discredited Kendrick and diverted attention away from this by showing he is a wife beater. But he just keeps referring to it while saying "I don't touch girls. I'm not a pedophile. I'm famous, okay???" Like dude is almost a billionaire. He doesn't have any lawyers on retainer that could give him basic courtroom tactics?
