That show went on way too long. It should've ended one season after he becomes president. A quick one season where the house of cards dramatically falls apart. Inside it's so long winded I didn't even care to finish it.
They have a built in plot device. A portal opens up and somehow kills the Rick and Morty we know. Out step Richard and Mortimer, from an alternate universe with different voices.
It's not like either one of their voices are hard to replicate. Throw a rock on YouTube and you'll hit a bunch of meme voice actors who'd kill for the gig and will nail it.
Maybe it'd have a bit less ironic/joking :libertarian-alert: and dial back the :reddit-logo: nihilistic edgelord rants with poopy farty butt characteristics.

You guys are seriously overvaluing his vocal contributions. He didn’t voice fucking Homer Simpson- you can go on TikTok and see 20+ Impressionists nail Rick and Morty.
They’ll find really solid replacements

It would be pretty funny if they continued the show without both of them but still called it Rick and Morty.
Just get the Australian guy to voice Rick and Morty like they did for the one parody episode. The bazinga brainers will eat it up.
