exhibit number #4382 of how the irony-poisoned dirtbag left identity is used as an excuse to be an absolute fuckwad towards fellow leftists. the block button can't be added to this site soon enough.

    your post was good. :meow-hug:

Nah, your post was good. This site really needs to undergo deredditification. That and add a mute/ban feature.

Your post was fine. I enjoyed the discussion. I wouldn't take the memeing personally as an intent to mock you; most of us here are just bored and will meme anything that appears to be the current topic of the hour. :meow-hug:

I thought it was an interesting idea. I especially liked the hybrid idea someone floated about only posts having upbears and removing them from comments, that would be an interesting experiment I think.

Ooh, I was thinking about this all night - I think it should be opposite. I like seeing comment upbears. I trust the people of this site and want to know what the general opinion is on comments.

There was nothing you need to apologize for about the post itself (a few needlessly hostile comments though deserved apologizing for). It did not need to be deleted. That said, I beg the admins to please please not remove upbears. All the really excellent points that were rightly countering the idea of removing the ability to upvote that were thoughtfully written out are now also impossible (or very difficult) to read since the post was deleted. Now all that's visible here is how "it's all good, you're fine!" and not the fact that (ironically according to upvotes) almost all were in favor of not removing upbears. (You said part of the original intent of making that post was that you were upset that you got ratioed somewhere else on the site and I can't help but wonder if getting ratioed in the anti-upbear post too was also part of the impetus for deleting it.)

If admins like @CARCOSA are seriously considering this, I hope we can have an open and honest debate about it first - not on this post - and not when it all just gets deleted.

Seconded (again. Seventhed?). It wasn't dumb; you have some good points. And you shouldn't be sorry for incompleteness. I was under the impression that part of the purpose of this site was trying out ideas that aren't fully formed yet.

We shouldn't forget that the majority of people probably log on, peek at like 10-15 posts and log off, wildly missing a tonne of stuff.

It's OK. You're basically a minor legend for the next few weeks. Keep posting and commenting proudly.

No publicity is bad publicity. You've got a solid bump in name recognition.

Educate, Organize, Agitate - a better hexbear is possible.
