Just interested in who supports Trump from an African country (I presume that's what you mean as trump refers to African countries that way, with the shithole phrasing). The only people I could think of are Afrikaners or other conservative white people living in Africa, though I am aware Trump has some form of support in Nigeria of all places lol

Yeah the Nigerian cult following is weird, a Nigerian Trump supporter unfortunately died after taking hydroxycloroquine after Trump recommended it. Sad all round, it's borders on cult like behaviour.

They really do, there's a huge Afrikaaner Trump support for ovious reasons. Still trying to figure out the fringe Nigerian Trump support cult that would drink bleach if Trump said it was ok. (It literally happened with hydroxycloroquine, person killed himself with it)

Probably just another one of those mildly conspiracy-minded groups that latch on to a wacky, useless, frequently harmful "treatment", I doubt they care about Trump tbh. People kill themselves with "alternative medicide" a lot, and their groups do get cultish.

You sometimes see chuddish weaboos say similar things about Japan, how it maintains its homogeneous culture and might fall due to letting too many foreigners in, and also they want to move there lol.

Also Fox News is a weirdly popular US export. I've seen it left on in the background in a household that doesn't speak English.

Maybe it makes them feel better about themselves and like "one of the good people from a shithole country". That's all I got

Do they know they're daughter is gay, because if so that's straight up terrible. Unfortunately homophobia is very popular in Africa due to colonialism and the pushing of Christianity and colonial values onto people, so much so that LGBT rights is seen as "western nonsense" despite African countries having openly gay kings before colonialism with no issue. Really sad stuff all round unfortunately.

Yeah as someone that lives in an African country (South Africa) that's closeted (bisexual) massive respect to her for being out, unironically o7. What a brave person. Hopefully it all works out somehow for both of you, dealing with all the bigotry is not fun at all.
