A video that starts with an analysis of Thor 4 but then becomes about the MCU as a whole. It's a well-written and short video that ultimately sums up modern neoliberal capital's aversion to positive change.

Even though the villains like Killmonger, Gor and Vulture make great points, that can never result in any permanent changes for the better. The status quo must be maintained, with all the incredible technologies and powers that could solve all of society's problems forever in the hands of the few rich "good guys".

It's a good video.

No the problem was that they sold this movie to me as "Thor's Ex Is Gay Now And He's Not In A Great Place About It" and I got real hype about how super relatable this movie was going to be. Then I saw the movie and there was zero gay and I still feel cheated.

I should have known better after they chickened out on making Poe and Finn gay in Star Wars.

Part of the video is about how Disney is the real villain in the MCU that prevents any actual change so your point is still kinda addressed.

I only watched it because I threw it on randomly one day while hungover as fuck. 3/10 its boring and samesy and the only impactful scene is the post-credit scene lol

okay I'm ten minutes into this video and hes talked about nothing but the weird inconsistency in Marvel canon around what is and is not a "god" and what gods do.

That's the catalyst that leads to everything else.

Don't forget that everytime they have to level a city or entire planet just to keep the status quo.
