Yeah I remember Roger Waters sending that open letter to Radiohead years ago saying hey maybe don't play in Israel, but Thom completely dismissing it saying 'then we shouldn't play in the US either' which was kinda correct but still it was then I realized Roger Waters is a thousand times cooler than Thom and his band. Really too bad.

I hope Coogan is cool. He certainly seems sympathetic in some of his audiobook and podcast screeds as Alan Partridge (albeit by playing a horribly reactionary Tory)

You're laughing but Hamas actually has a WMD that turns the world into pudding.

I don’t have to hope. I know they won’t do any of things to me because 1. I live half way across the world and 2. I don’t support genocide against Palestinians

This just further cements my initial opinion upon first hearing Radiohead's music a long time ago, which is that they aren't actually that good.

I've worked with Radiohead fans. They'd play through that whole trite discography and I'd just have to put up with shitty electronic elements and impotent moaning for hours. And then years later I found out they sucked as people, too.

Be me, on stage: I’m fiddling with my pedal knobs for ten minutes and my fans are cumming in their pants

Radiohead is at its best when it's someone else covering Radiohead. OK Computer is a brilliant album and I haven't listened to the original in years. It has songs that Brad Mehldau can turn into 19 minute jazz piano solos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aD-b1j_huxY) and that a cello octet can reinterpret (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FF99S5Y8mV4). The original has all that complexity held back by generic 1990s alt-rock instrumentation. Radiohead is the most boring Radiohead cover band.

Yup, posting Douglas Murray. An actual Nazi draped in pop-history. It took three tweets to find.
